Travel Fees
I do not
charge a travel
fee within
Pensacola and
the surrounding
areas
Since I travel
across the
Southeastern
United States to
perform, Travel
Fees outside of
Pensacola will vary by
destination and
time of day
Please call me
for prices. |
Beware of DJ's who
have hidden
charges!!!
The price you see is
the price you'll pay
and not one penny
more!!!
The DJ Nightmare
Just imagine
it's your
wedding day. You
spent thousands
of dollars on
your gown,
tuxedo's, the
limousine,
reception
facility, food,
beverages,
flowers, cake,
rehearsal
dinner, and so
on. You are
planning on an
enchanted or fun
filled evening.
You hired a
budget DJ that
you contracted
through the
mail. Their
prices seemed
like a good
bargain and you
were looking for
a deal.
As the evening
starts to
unfold, you
experience:
*Your guests
arrive only to
find the music
is blaring
ungodly loud. |
*You finally
arrive and meet
the DJ for the
first time.
*You are
appalled
they are dressed
in jeans and a
T-shirt and have
already made a
few trips to the
bar before you
arrived.
*When it's time
for
announcements,
you find the DJ
did not take the
time to get all
the names of
your bridal
party.
*When it came to
your First
Dance, the DJ
did not have
your song.
*No one knew the
cake was being
cut because the
DJ didn't
announce it.
*When it came
time for the
toast, the DJ
didn't have a
cordless
microphone to do
the toast by the
cake.
*No
announcements
for any of the
wedding
traditions were
made during the
evening.
*The music was
laced with
profanity and
mostly Rap, R&B,
and hard rock.
Your guests
decide to eat
and leave early
because they
couldn't
understand,
recognize, nor
dance to the
music.
*Later, you go
to look for the
DJ only to find
them outside
taking a break
and smoking and
joking instead
of monitoring
the music and
the dance floor.
*You are in
tears and regret
not hiring a
professional DJ
for a few
hundred dollars
more to perform
at your
reception.
*All of the
months of
pre-planning
have gone down
the drain as the
vision of your
perfect evening
went down the
drain with the
"DJ Nightmare".
The thousands of
dollars were not
well spent
because of the
"Economy
Vehicle".
As owner of A
DJ TO GO, I can
personally tell
you the story
above is not
made up. It is a
story I hear
over and over
from future
Brides and
Grooms and even
other wedding
professionals.
The Professional
Experience
On the other
hand. you can
buy a luxury
sedan, the best
that there is.
It has all the
bells and
whistles and is
loaded with
comfort and
luxury. It's the
smoothest riding
vehicle you have
ever driven. It
has the best
reputation and
has many repeat
buyers. It's the
best on the
market. Think of
A DJ TO GO as
the Luxury
sedan. I only
use the best
equipment,
have formal
training, and
provide first
class quality
entertainment...second to none
in the Pensacola
area!!! My focus
is on
personalized
service with
100% customer
satisfaction. I
am not going to
be happy unless
you're happy.
Being a DJ is my
FULL TIME job,
not just a hobby
or side job. I
take what I do
very seriously
and am
continuously
looking for ways
to improve my
performance.
Contracting:
Putting it in
writing in black
and white
Absolutely no
date will be
"held" unless a
signed purchase
agreement and
retainer fee is
collected
If it's not in
writing, you have no
obligation. There
are a few DJ
services who want
you to be "Penciled
In". Their way of
doing business
is by what they call
"A Verbal Contract".
Do not fall for
this. You are
leaving yourself
open to a no show or
a surprisingly
higher price than
you anticipated. A
Verbal Contract will
not be valid in the
court of law. Don't
fall for the DJ
service that says
because you called
for information you
are obligated to
hire them. They are
scam artists and
that's a red flag!!!
Avoid all contact
and ignore all
threats made by
them!!!
Unless it is in
writing, you have
nothing!!!
If at all
possible, I will
meet in person
with you and/or
your significant
other to address
any questions or
concerns you may
have
BEFORE
contracting. I
am willing
to meet with you
early in the
evening or on
the weekend. I
do realize most
people have to
work during the
day. There are
certain
circumstances
where I will
mail, fax, or
email purchase
agreements to
prospective
clients such as
living out of
state.
I
will never put a
"Hard Sell" on
any client just
to get them to
sign a contract.
If you want to
go home and talk
it over, that is
perfectly fine.
Hiring a DJ has
to be a match
between the
purchaser and
seller. You have
to be
comfortable with
your decision. I
may or may not
be the right DJ
for your event
and that's
understandable.
If we come to an
agreement, a
legal binding
contract will be
initiated in
which
pertinent event
information will
be filled out. I
will explain,
have you read,
and
initial all of
the conditions
of the contract.
We will both
sign at the
bottom to make
it legal. I will
give you a copy
of the purchase
agreement and I
will keep one
for my records.
A $125,
non-refundable
Retainer Fee
will be
collected at the
time of signing.
